Litspiration Challenge Term 2

Letter To the Author,

Dear Rick Riordan,

Hi my name is Curtis, and I am a student of Calgary Science School. I read your book Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief. I really loved this book. I thought it was very interesting when he thought he was an ordinary person, when he is the son of Poseidon. One thing I found confusing is the old ladies at the fruit stand near the highway. Otherwise this was a very action packed book. I really liked the capture the flag, when Percy was defeated but put his hand in the water and healed him. Overall I really liked this book and how your related it to Greek mythology.

Sincerely,
Curtis

Nice letter with some good questions! You should go read the other books too! I like the background on your blog.

  3. Curtis, This is a great letter and I was wondering two things.
    1. Why did the fruit stand confuse you?
    2. Did you actually send this to the author?
(I deleted the first comment because a sentence didn't make sense.)

  4. Hi curtis I really liked the idea of making a letter but I thought your ideas were a little vague. I thought you could have written why you thought hat you said like why you loved the book and why found it confusing and why you found the book action packed, etc. I thought that your writing was strong and had many great aspects that I definitely agree with. I am a great fan of these books and if this is the first one you've I would definitely advise you continue reading the series, It keeps getting better and better!
